This is a Buddhist Retreat conducted in silence and requires effort and strict self-discipline.

The Gompa at Govinda Valley will take 45 retreatants comfortably. All meals are vegetarian and prepared on the premises by staff who must bathe and meditate before each meal preparation. Those on special diets are catered for. Rooms, Gompa and Dining Room are heated.

Govinda Valley is 4 minutes' walk from Otford Railway Station and car pools will be organised. When submitting your booking, please advise if you need or can offer a lift.
